Ever since I can remember (even as a kid) I've been a loud snorer. I've had friends and family claim they had the loudest snorer in their home and once they heard me they realized their family was lucky not to have me sleeping at their house
I'm 37 now and it's almost like it has all caught up with me. I've been so exhausted I didn't realize just how bad off I was. Everyday around 4pm it was a battle to keep my eyes open. I would wake up exhausted. I used to tell friends it was like my whole day had a dream feeling to it, like things weren't real. No one knew what I meant by that.
About a month ago I went in for a sleep study and had averaged 94 "obstructions" per hour. Went back a second time and this time they hooked me up to a CPAP. I woke up at 4am the next morning wired out of my mind and felt like I could build a house in day. Since then it's almost like my body body got a taste of how it should be sleeping and it has been a real you know what getting out of bed at all since then.
Yesterday I finally got my CPAP and last night's sleep was great. I feel like I got good quality sleep. I woke refreshed, alert and ready to go.
Anyway, I'm just so excited I had to share. It's like I'm getting my life back. I can't wait to see how things progress over the next several weeks.
Thanks for letting me share.
