Latest version of Encore Pro

Post by RAMBLINMAN » Thu Sep 15, 2005 1:34 pm

Just the other day I email Repironics about what is their lastest version of their EncorePro software and this answer:

The latest revision to the software is version 1.4.99 This is the service pack 1 upgrade. The most common version is 1.4.91 which will download everything that we currently offer domestically.

Regards,
Respironics Product Support

Is this the same version that is sold on cpap.com.....????

The version I received from CPAP.COM was 1.4.91, however I downloaded the upgrade to 1.4.99.

It is common for retailers to sell whatever version they purchased. Always make a habit to visit the manufacturer's site for the "latest" version of the software.

It's not really the retailers fault. Manufacturer's frequently make improvements to the software after they sell it to the middleman.

Wether it's a web-cam,camera, laptop, router, printer, etc., at Compu-USA or BEST BUY or Circuit City. You'll often find on the same day that you purchase it, that there is a newer version of the software and drivers availalble on the manufacturer's site.

This is not necessarily bad since these upgrades are free, and actually improve the performance of the product or software.
