DME is short for the evil Durable Medical Equipment suppliers :

Monitor Medical here in Austin, Texas. They've been great with me about answering questions, making sure I have the correct mask, dealing with my insurance company and other issues. The respiratory therapist did a better job of explaining my sleep study than my doctor did. I've had to go through several masks and they've been very understanding and supportive.
