Insurance Flex Spending ?

Does anyone know if insurance companies will allow the use of Flex Spending Dollars to purchase things like the papCAP from http://www.pursleep.com?

I can't see why they wouldn't since they allow things like aspirin and gauze bandages. Have you checked with the sales rep @ the website?

I did send an email to them, I just haven't heard back yet. (I'm an impatient person)

It really does just depend upon your company's rules. Every flex fund I've had experience with, has been quite liberal with refunds for everything, as long as they received the standard & proper documentation. I have 2 backup/travel xpap machines which were reimbursed (with my own money) by the flex fund account

Hi--Your Flexible spending account is really your own money. As long as it is deemed a "medical" expense --I am pretty sure CPAP machines and supplies should qualify. Especially since you need a script for a machine---:) Good luck!!

I used my Flex Spending Account to buy an auto IntelliPAP from cpap.com.
