Good recovery Lori.

As my profile shows, I'm in Clearwater. Across the bay from Tampa and north of St. Petersburg.

Okay. Boynton Beach...not too close. I'll have to shout really loud when I'm down there for you to hear me. And, trust me, I've got just the lungs to do it. After raising three kids, two of which are sons three years apart??? Lots of training. Guess that's why I don't need to use my CFlex.

loonlvr,

Yes, I kinda figured you were yankin' my chain there a little bit. But that's okay. I'll get you back one of these days when you're least expecting it .

Thanks for the recognition on my inability to stop talking/posting. I have been slow with my work lately over the summer months, but I think now that Labor Day has come and gone, things are going to get busy again, so my percentage may drop a little. I'll still post 96% more posts than anyone ever has on this site in this amount of time, but it may drop off a little. I'm sorry!!! I admit, I'm addicted to you guys...shoot me!!!

If you met me, you'd understand why. I also type (in sorts) for a living and type of at the speed of sound, truthfully. It takes me no time to write something lengthy,

Hi Lori,

I noticed you said you type for a living. Are you a transcriptionist by chance?

Of sorts. I transcribe my own work. I am a free-lance court reporter for just over 25 years. Do you need a transcriber?

Not just on the other coast from me, but south on a diagonal 187 miles as the crow flies (give or take).

Yep, not too close.

And your 10+ posts per day average will keep you well ahead of my 8+ per day average. I wonder if you hold the record?

My wife used to do medical transcription (she has a medical secretarial college degree). She once did transcription for the European transplant coordination agency in a number of languages!

IIRC, at the same time she was doing part-time medical transcription she was running her own business doing cakes (everything from kids birthdays to elaborate weddings), gourmet chocolates (hand rolled truffles mostly) and as the assitant chef in a French restaurant. All while raising 2 young children and a 30-something kid (me).

Too bad she can't work in this country; there appears to be lots of demand for her skills.
