Howdy,
We keep an in house list of Respironics Error Codes laying around our document system. When cpaptalk's user encyclopedia gets off the ground, we'll most likely post it there - in the mean time, here's what the techs will be reading if you call into Respironics:
Error Code: E-024
Text Error Code: ERR_UNRECOGNIZED_CAL_VERSION_BY_SW
Problem: Improper calibration or Defective FLASH chip
Solution: Recalibrate or Replace Main PCA
As previously suggested, power it all down, remove all the bells and whistles, power it up without them and see what happens. If it still errors and you have software, try using it to whip the smart card.
If that still isn't working, a call to Respironics or cpap.com is your best bet.
I'm just the tech guy, so I do not have a foundation in CPAP that would allow me to say if it's safe to continue use or not. I'd say "play it safe" - but when you need a machine and it's not working, which way is playing it safe?
You can always overnight yourself a PB 420 for a little under $350.00.

Although no one has opted for it as of yet, we also support same day shipping as well, if you are very VERY serious about having a CPAP machine N-O-W.
