Hi,

I am new to CPAP, I started last Thursday and have been reading a lot of the info that you have here on the board. Thank you for that. I have a Respironics M series pro with C-Flex. The presure is 10cm and I used the ramp for the first couple nights, but no longer. I am using a FlexiFit 432 size large. I am a big guy at 6'4" and it seems to be doing ok so far after I got it adjusted, and went to a 10 foot hose, with a cover to allow me to sleep away from the edge of the bed. No software yet but I am thinking of getting some so I can get a better picture of things. I am a paramedic so knowing what is going on is very important to me.

I have started reading the posts on nasal irrigation with interest have had sinus congestion for many years and being a mouth breather. I have had several surgeries on my sinus' they were so bad. But I think that making the adjustment to CPAP first is more important then starting something else.

I have noticed that I am dreaming and feel more rested during the day. The dreaming is good and bad for me, it tells me that I am sleeping deeper and getting more rest. The bad I will say is related to another medical issue that is hard for me.

Thanks for the info that helped make this experience easier.

Jay
