Having large leaks causing dry throat

Post by terry123 » Sun Nov 22, 2020 4:59 pm

A few times when I wake up my throat is so dry it hurts. Then it feels irritated for several days. Looking at my report on Oscar, I am having a lot of large leaks that is likely causing the problem, but they are not waking me up. I thought my mask fit good, but obviously there is a problem. Any advice for assuring a good fit with my mask.

You might try raising the level of humidity to see if that makes any difference. There's a product that helps with mouth dryness, but I don't know if it'd help with throat dryness. You could try. It's called Xylimelt. They are little discs that stick to your teeth or gums and slowly release a substance that stimulates production of saliva.
