I'm no computer savvy person, but most internet providers will allow you to have some free space, for example where you can create a personal web site. That's what I did a 3 or 4 years ago. I wanted a blog, and so I used a (free) text editor, Jarte, with all the tools I needed to easily create a web site, and posted such things as family pics and links to various things, such as my blog. (don't ask for any URL's - I don't want you to know that much about me). Well, if I want to post a pic on this site, I just drop it into my Web Places folder (required by the personal web site), use my editor to quickly place it on my web page, then right click to copy the properties, then click on the "Img" button at the top of this page, paste, hit submit, and I'm finished - only about 5 or 6 clicks.
There's probably an easier way, but I'm too cheap to buy anything. I figure if I can't do it free, its not worth doing. Well, one small confession - I did buy the Rescan card reader to monitor my sleep progress.

If yuou want to post photos directly into the post without having to resize them then you need to use a host site such as photobucket and use the img button on the post screen to insert the web address to the pic and it will insert it. If you don't want to do it this way, you will likely need to resize the picture and this can be a PIA IMO.

Right. Can't put a picture directly from your computer into a message you're posting on here. Got to first upload the pic to "a site" (like photobucket.) Then you can start a post as usual, hit the "Img" button along the top of your message, and put the URL to the picture (a URL ending in ".jpg") between the bracketed "img" "/img" that you'll see sitting in your message after you used the Img button.

If its an image on the web, right click on image, select "Properties", copy "Address" to clipboard. click "Img" button in reply window, paste address in between the tags, like so:

If its an image on your hard drive, open a free account with ImageShack, and upload your images there. Then your images will have web addresses, and you can follow the procedure above.
