Have decided to get the pb420e with software

Post by seagull » Tue Aug 09, 2005 9:21 pm

The plug situaton would be the only drawback to me. Extra plug for humidifer, and plug "wart" (for whatever reason it is called that). I am already having plug outlet situation---but nothing an extention cord for fan, clock, etc won't take care of. Thanks for all your help. Dee

seagull,

You might want to consider getting a powerstrip of the surge protector variety for all that stuff to plug into... especially if you're contemplating buying the SleepZone Heated Cpap Tube (Aussie Heated Hose) in the future to go along with your new setup. (Eliminates rainout!)

I did get a multipe outlet surge protector for cpap machine. My answering machine has a "wart" too. It takes up 2 sockets. I will only run clock, fan, answering machine to another extention cord, from another outlet, when I get my pb. Thanks

It is "wall wart" because it is a growth coming out of your wall.

You may want to look for a power strip that spaces the outlets to accommodate the "warts." Some will accommodate up to four warts plus additional standard plugs.

A plus of getting the 420E is that you don't need an extra plug socket for the (must have) Aussie heated hose. It comes with a Y connector that branches off the wall wart and powers the hose from the same source so you don't need a separate power source for the heated hose, but ONLY with the 420 series.
