Trying to choose CPAP for travel

Post by liv2kite » Sun Jan 04, 2009 10:24 am

I am looking for a CPAP for occasional use when traveling.

I am sensitive to noise and really care about the unit being small. I am leaning towards ZZZ-PAP Silent Traveler, but also curious about the Aeio Everest 2, the Goodnight 420G and the S8 Escape Travel or Elite. I may go with the ZZZ-PAP because it seems smaller than the rest.

Any suggestions for folks that have gone down this road before.

I love my little battery-powered Everest, but it is not quiet.

My S8 Elite II is fairly compact and is very quiet (compared to my old RemStar Pro 2) when use without the humidifier. For some reason the humidifier (3i) adds quite a bit of noise.

I use my S8 Elite for travel--love its small size, and it is quiet.

I've got one and am using it right now. I like it just fine. For the money it can't be beat. $290 for a machine w/HH is a steal.

I use a ZZZ-Pap for travel and could not be happier! Even travel with it internationally. Works like a charm.
