Ear tubes with cpap

Post by Kenv » Mon Nov 17, 2008 3:08 pm

I'm currently having hearing problems which may require the placing of ear tubes, seeing my ENT tomorrow.
I'm wondering if cpap will cause a problem (like noise created by air coming thru the tube) if tubes are placed. Does anyone here have ear tubes in place whilst using cpap?

Wow! ...Tubes will likely cause a problem with CPAP or other way around CPAP with tubes. If the tubes don't let all the CPAP pressure escape, the CPAP may blow out the tubes.

I would definitely discuss with your doc(s) to know for sure.
