Don't worry about it. Last I heard, the purpose of this forum is to "HELP" users. Yes, we promote CPAP.COM, the provider of this forum as much as possible, but, in reality, there are many sources for this equipment.
Lots of brick & mortar DMEs get mentioned here, too.

She is the person who :
Personally, I would never suggest anyone purchase a machine without a prescription.

Jeanette Murrell
sleep_apnea moderator

I wonder if the fact that she personlly felt this way should deny this to the list of people who may not be able to afford a machine.
I wish she would give her reasons instead of deleting the posts.
I ownder how Johnny feels about this.

I think what Brenda was asking (and I've been wondering) is......WHO/WHAT/WHERE is this person (Jeanette Murrell)?
I don't recall seeing her name anywhere on THIS forum and I don't recall seeing any posts that have been deleted.

I think the post that was allegedly deleted was the one from someone who referred to buying from craigslist because it didn't require a prescription. I tried to find the post back and failed, but that could just as well have been user error

Usually....."deleted posts" are still visible (to registered/logged-in members) when you go to make a response to a post.....but I also checked that and didn't see one......so that was the basis of my question to Tom. If there WAS a post, where did it go?

Thanks Den! That is exactly what I was asking!

nevermind, the post I was thinking of is there towards the bottom of page 1, from jules.

Also, if you look at the cpap.com admins (memberlist.php?mode=leaders) there is no mention of anyone by that name..... she's probably someone from one of the other boards....
who knows why she sent a PM to tomjax????

No admin on cpaptalk.com has ever said anything like that. AND if it's so important why the hell wouldn't she just post it publicly???

Just forget it, I would say.

This is the message with her e-mail:
----- Original Message ----

Subject: Message not approved: Prescription required to buy CPAP???

I'm going to have to reject this message as this subject always gets
heated and sometimes ugly in the group. Personally, I would never
suggest anyone purchase a machine without a prescription.

What other posts has she decided to remove?.

tomjax, sorry I'm really not following. Was a thread removed from cpaptalk, or from another forum??
I am sooo confused.

Tom,

That's a different forum. Probably the reason we were confused.

My posting was deleted from THIS forum.
I cannot find it, but I mentioned craigs list and this was deleted with the message I sent.

I found her profile with a google search -jerkymom34-

I used to post over at sleepnet, but have given up because so many of my postings were removed by sandman. That forum is down to about 2 postings a day, probably because so many postings were removed for very silly reasons.

I tried to answer questions about APAP and the many advantages.
Sandman said I was pronoting apap and to stop.
Go figure.

\btw, what forum are you referring to?

Whatever this one is......the one you gave the link to in a previous post.
"jerkymom34" seems to be a prominent poster or admin on that forum.
