Sorry to ask again. I got all kinds of messages on my settings. I meant to edit and posted again instead. In your opinion, which of the 3-- Resmed auto spirit,
Respironics remstar auto, or
Puritan bennett 420e---
is best for hypopneas----

The only thing I know about the resmed, which I use, is that it monitors the last 5 breaths and responds accordingly - that will mean that as you relax into sleep and hypopneas start, the machine is responding gently and proportionately as needed. It works for me! As for apneas, it responds at once to those! But one note on any machine (my guess is that any of the three will be fine) is make sure your range is set widely enough. For example, if your pressure on CPAP is say 8, then make sure the machine is set say 5 - 11 and then check each day to make sure you got nowhere near 11. If you get near 11, extend the range to 12 etc.
Hope this helps

I was thinking it is 420E. I am thinking of getting that in addition to my resmed auto cpap.

Suggest you utilize the Search function and for Keyword enter: hypopneas and at the same time for Author enter: -SWS for the most succinct answer to your question. (Please note, the author's username is -SWS not just SWS)
