Now, if I could get the headgear in pink or purple I might try it...

Because if I can't be feminine while wearing a hose strapped to my head, then when CAN I be feminine?

I like the idea of hot colors for the headgear, though.

Many female CPAP posters over the years have complained that interface sizing/angle adjustments didn't seem to properly accommodate their facial features.

Perhaps Resmed finally took all that feedback to heart. Good call IMO.

Yeah, but is that what ResMed did? Is it any different than the one we're all familiar with, or is this just a new advertising angle?

Sneaky, indeed, if the mask doesn't fit differently! Look at Resmed's first two words in the heading of their marketing copy:
Resmed marketing threw a subtle fit of fits and wrote:First fit with her in mind... <yadi yadi yada>...

It will be interesting to hear if fit has anything to do with it after all. If not that marketing text isn't fit to fit IMO.

DreamDiver DH and I joke about my hose all of the time. I tell him my hose are dirty and need a washing. Then he will find my hose hanging in the bathroom and ask "what do I do with your hose" When I get a new hose he asks if I wore the old hose out. I guess we have an odd sense of humor.

It's too bad they seem to have printed, "SWIFT LT FOR HER" permanently on the side supports...smaller men (or boys) who might find a better fit with that version of the LT will have to scratch that out or paint a racing stripe over it, or something!

This is ResMed's description of the Swift LT:
Light touch, Easy fit.

From the market leader in nasal pillows, the Swift™ LT is a revolution in nasal pillows technology. Light to the touch, easy to fit and whisper quiet, the Swift LT offers superior comfort, stability and performance to maximize patient compliance.

Light touch: With no forehead support and weighing only 2.3 oz (67 g), the Swift LT seals softly and securely to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep.
Easy fit: Rotating barrel allows user to customize seal, and simple design makes it easy to fit and clean.
Whisper-quiet comfort: Quietest nasal pillows system on the market and 71% quieter than the Mirage™ Swift II.*
Compact and stable: Ideal for side sleeping, the Swift LT’s mask frame width is 50% of the size of the Mirage Swift II.
* Testing per ISO 3744:1994 Acoustics determination of sound power levels of noise using pressure at 10 cm H2O. Quoted percentage comparisons are calculated by converting sound power values from a logarithmic scale to a linear scale.
This is ResMed's description of the Swift LT for Her:
First fit with her in mind

The Swift™ LT for Her is the first mask designed specially for women, combining the revolutionary design of the Swift LT with personalized features for women's unique preferences:

Light touch: No forehead support and weighs only 2.3 oz (67 g), sealing softly and securely to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep.
Easy fit: Rotating barrel allows her to customize her best seal, while the simple design makes it easy to fit and clean.
Soft and stable: 50% smaller mask frame width, making it perfect for side sleeping.
Whisper-quiet comfort: Quietest nasal pillows system on the market (71% quieter than the Mirage Swift™ II—25 dBa*).
Innovative headgear design: Adjustable backstrap can be worn over or under the hair to accommodate a wide range of hair styles in a soft, feminine print and light blue color.
*Testing per ISO 3744:1994 Acoustics determination of sound power levels of noise using pressure at 10 cm H2O. Quoted percentage comparisons are calculated by converting sound power values from a logarithmic scale to a linear scale.
Same weight, both have a 50% smaller frame width, both are 71% quieter than the Swift II. Repackaged mask in a lighter color? Same ad, slightly reworded? You decide. (Frankly, I don't care. I would just hope that no one would spend $$ on the For Her version, thinking it was different than the LT they already owned.)

It does seem to come with a different set of nasal pillows - smaller.

That's funny! Next thing you know it will have wings on it with the soft yet feminine fragrance to it...

So far we have color and nasal pillow size. Can we tell yet if there are any curvature, size, or relational axes differences in that head strap?

I personally can't tell by looking at the two if they are identical or different in that respect. Probably identical. But maybe not. The text description doesn't seem to reveal that set of fit-related parameters one way or the other as far as I can tell.

Maybe there WERE listening. Look at this from that news article:

"The boffins at Resmed have worked several improvements into the new Activa LT mask. Based on the existing and popular Activa nasal mask, improvements have been made in cushion size, attachment, bridge adjustment and exhaust."

A smaller Activa? Perfect.
