Does using 2 different AutoPAPS cause problems?

True, at least of the U.S. market...currently. There is a ResMed machine that has been undergoing FDA trials in the U.S. and is already being used in other countries -- a combo autopap/bi-level machine. First of its kind. The ResMed Autoset CS 2 (click to read about it on ResMed's Australian website.) Automatically delivers what pressure is needed AND switches back and forth automatically between auto/bi-level modes, depending on what's happening in the breathing pattern.

But that's not a machine you'd need, Sue. ResMed has developed it particularly for people with congestive heart failure and Cheyne-Stokes breathing.
