Got new Aura. Lightly used comfort curve for sale

I ordered and received an Aura yesterday and at first I couldn't get it adjusted small enough to fit my head, so I got some 3 dollar foam weatherstripping from walmart that is 3/4 inch wide and 1/2 inch thick with a self adhesive backing on it and lined the inside of the headgear with it. That made it fit better and was much softer on my head than the rubber headstrap. I wore it laying in bed and I had full range of motion with it and no leaks. It seems very comfortable.

So anyone who is looking for a lightly used comfort curve, send me an IM. It works great for a back sleeper but for a side sleeper it doesn't do well at all.

I was just wanting to know how you liked your aura mask? I just brought the comfort curve and I hate it.Don't want to waste any more money on a mask.

What is the downside of the Cumfort Curve? Does any one like it?

I returned my Comfort Curve to my DME today. They aren't very comfortable for side sleepers plus I had an allergic reaction to the cheek pads after about 3 hours of sleep.

I have given much time attempting to make the Comfort Curve work. I can get a good seal on my back but once I turn on my side I lose it. The cheekpads hurt. I have taken them off an replaced them with pieces of moleskin. It now hurts less but leaves red marks on my cheeks for part of the morning. Mu other complaint is the hose. The short hose can only fit into the Comfort Curve hose. The short hose is difficult to work with. I like to suspend the interface hose to the top of my headboard so the weight of the hose does not pull on the mask. This cannot be done with the Comfort Curve short hose. The CC ships with a hose clip for hose management. I still have not figured out how to use the clip.

I think the Aura is awesome. I would say that it has taken some work to get the seal perfect but I think I have gotten about 98 percent success from it. The biggest issue is that i must have a much smaller head than normal ( Don't say it lol). The foam weatherstripping helped but I also added extra velcro to the adjustment so that I had a better contact area. As you tighten the straps, you have less of the velcro straps contacting each other.

With it now adjusted to seal and fit properly I can now sleep on my back, side or stomach and the mask is more than comfortable for me. The seal is maintained throughout the night and the number one thing is with the CC I averaged 3.5 hrs of compliance a night while the first two nights the Aura were 7.5 hrs each and I have not felt this good and alert in a hell of a long time.

I highly recommend trying this one based on my outcome, but as with any interface, depending on your own personal anatomy you may need to do some aftermarket modifications to get the best fit, but there are a scarce few devices that can accomodate as many sleeping positions as this one imo.
