Post by debdrunner » Tue Dec 21, 2004 8:41 pm

Hi My husband has been diagnoised with obstructive sleep apnea. His Health coverage will not pay for the cpap machine that the doctor prescribed. He falls asleep in the blink of an eye.His breathing is so bad at night I sometimes think that he might not wake up.I am afraid for him.He is a truck driver.I need to get him a used machine that we can afford. Can anybody reccomend something. Thanks so much!Debbie

Debbie,

For a new machine, this is the best place to buy one. Give Ted a call and he will take good care of you.

For a used machine, check out both the Yahoo and e-bay auctions, although e-bay has recently discontinued their posting. However, you can still occasionally find them there.

Hi Deb,

The Puritan Bennett Goodknight 420g flies off of our shelves. This is very small, full featured cpap for $299.00. Who needs used when you can get a well made machine with a great warranty? If things are tight try a passover humidifier until you can afford to go with a heated unit.

Here is the link to the 420g.

Merry Christmas,
