Hourglass Icon on the LCD

Post by kristykreem » Mon Jan 28, 2008 10:24 am

Hi Everybody,

I'm new here, so please forgive me if this topic has already been discussed. I don't quite know how to search for specific information in here yet ...

A little more than two years ago, I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea and prescribed a REMstar Plus Domestic CPAP machine. Initially, I couldn't really tolerate using it, so I didn't unless I was traveling or in a situation in which I knew my snoring would bother other people.

The last few months, though, I've been using it and loving it. I'm no longer insured and nobody ever asked me to return the machine, so here I am, uninsured with a CPAP machine and nobody to service it. The air pressure is fine, everything's working well, but I've noticed the hourglass icon on the LCD is filling in and almost toward the top (full) mark. What happens when the hourglass icon reads full? Does the machine stop working?

Thanks for any information any of you can give me!

-KK

I forgot to mention that I don't have the manual for the machine...

The hourglass designates the hours of use.

You shouldn't have to worry about it as it just tells how many hours the machine has been used.

The manual is located at:

Hope this helps.

Please fill out your profile -- it is in the grey bar area at the top near the middle. This way we won't have to keep asking you about your machine and equipment when you have questions.

It is easier to read in text instead of pictures as that helps us.

Click on the yellow light bulb and red question mark for additional information.

Glad you decided to join us.
