No cats have been harmed in my experiment and I sold my canoe about three years ago. I know C-FLEX is not 1 cm per setting ... from what Dr. Karkow stated it is a bit less. ResMed does have pressure increments of 0.2 and Respironics has increments of 0.5 ... but I'm not raising the pressure just for fun -- I actually have software and card reader and know how to use the little gadgets
I'm using max exhalation relief and tweaking pressure to optimize minimum AHI then trialing to see how my body responds in order to compare all of the various PAP options I have available to me. I want to once and for all find out which works best for me -- CPAP w/ no CFLEX, CPAP w/ CFLEX, APAP w/ no CFLEX or AFLEX, APAP w/ CFLEX, or APAP w/ AFLEX ... does that make more sense?
I don't understand why you are questioning my treatment perogatives ... I took control of my treatment over a year ago and I think I know what I'm doing
BTW - I have also used the ResMed machines (Elite & Vantage) with and w/o EPR for several months before settling with the Respironics machines ... both "tank" and "M" APAPS.
