Live Chat Recap. Next Chat Monday June 6th 8 PM CST 9 EST

Howdy,

What a great night of chatting. I think this was the best line of the night:

[tbone] 9:11 pm: i wonder if anyone in the matrix had osa?

We had 18 in the room at one point and about 25 people total participated. Perhaps the chat started too late as many were off to bed from the chat. Our next poll will be what time is the best for everyone.

The ComfortCurve elbow leak problem was discussed. The recap is that this mask works great for a large majority of people who try it, but that some do leak at the elbow. Respironics is aware of the problem and we'll see what they do.

Also in the news, the Respironics Pro with C-Flex is being discontinued in favor of the Respironics Pro 2 with C-Flex. The Pro 2's software downloads give more data out than the Pro, which only gives out compliance data.

We talked about popular masks in the DME world vs the online world and why the difference exists. Things got pretty lively as many cpaptalkers didn't think much of the quality of their first mask. I'll leave it to the rumour mill and cpaptalk PM system to go into more detail on that.

Lastly, we talked about what a grass roots CPAP movement would look like. How can we get the word out that people can get the best equipment at the best price online? The jury is out on that as well, but we're always interested in your opinions.

As I post, there are about 9 left and chat has gone on about an hour and a half. I've very pleased with our first chat and look forward to many more!

Next Chat Monday June 6th 8 PM CST 9 PM EST

Johnny

Chat time

That 9 PM (Eastern time) chat time is too late for me. I'm almost down for the count by that time of night. I would like it to be earlier if possible.
