Re: Anybody from UK?
I use the PB 420E, and when I travel to Hungary, use the I bring the set of adaptors and all have worked fine overseas. The PB 420E does switch also other current. I've used the adaptors for hairdryers, sound noise machines, and will be using for first time in Hung. in autumn. And may we add (off th...

Re: Swift loud noise fix....
You're a smart wise 25 year old. I'm going to be 55 and it took me these 6-77 mos. to figure out that that's where I'm hearing my leaking sounds as well. Always I will defer to someone younger to figure it out quickly! GOod for you! How I resolved this was using a whole new swift band/hosing/nasal p...

Re: is it possible?
I didn't snore much. OF course, my husband says he doesn't snore and he does, and also says he never sleeps but it's someone in the house looking and sounding like him snoring, so I guess, the partner, can never be 100% sure........ But as a woman and even during my hosp. sleep ctr. stays, I didn't ...

Re: simplicity of cleaning PBGK compared to Respironics Rems
I forgot, as a guard against the humidifier sitting all day and with the warming element underneath taking a longer period of time to ''cool down'' I might add, I have taken to removing the water reservoir completely from the humidifier and letting it sit on my night stand separate from the machine....

Re: simplicity of cleaning PBGK compared to Respironics Rems
Cleaning seems to come up every so often. I have the PB 420E. I wash the nasal pillow (swift) pieces DAILY. I just prefer to put something clean back into my nose than NOT. I wash the head pc and chin strap (which is a pc of garbage-but I do use it) 2x's a wk. My routine has gotten that I wash out t...

Re: Helping Doc to prescribe APAP
Setting for APAP My pulmonary dr. wanted me to do straight cpap at 12. When I forced the issue (see previous quotes of mine, I won't bore you with the LBS) but I insisted on apap. So then they changed the scrip with some grousing by the RT, DME, and when I said it's the apap PB 420E or nothing, I go...

420E tubing
You should have received 2 little plug in type plastic jobbers, to put in the 2 ends of the pressure hose. My DME for what she knew (nearly nothing), said I should never ever get it wet, or water down into the pressure tube. She actually recommended taping the 2 jobbies to the top of the 420E. I was...

Bigger is Better (in this case!)
As a female user, I was told that I'd need a small or medium nasal pillow. Well my nose said no, and I went to the large sized swift nasal pillow, it sealed better and since then no problems. I know mentally I don't like to hear "LARGE", but in this case, the large seals and fits/sets better, at lea...

420E
I have had no problems re: Silverlining software readouts. But I do notice the noise esp. inhalation. It doesn't bother me, as I have a background white noise sound machine on at the same time, but I can see where the noise (of one's own breathing) could be annoying. I'd rather hear myself breathing...

Re: What did we do to desrve thing?
I've got type 2 insulin diabetes, and as of last thurs. 2 new stents in my heart, that I frankly pushed my way to see why I had these symptoms.........hoping to prove myself wrong. But I'm a work in progress, and try not to let this stuff get me down, just strap on my apap and go to sleep (aided by ...

Re: Charge for copy of sleep study?
I am finding this practice more and more, that even your own Primary care dr will charge. Ain't like they need the money, but I guess they want to know WHO is actually asking for WHAT? Wonder if it's alittle CYA on the doc's part to ensure what is being sent out of his office is the true deal? Do yo...

The head bobbin' cardiologist says "OH YES, SA is a serious problem", it's very good you use ''that'' machine. But smilin' the wh ole time, makes me think I'm a hypochondriac neurotic menopausal female (partly true), but the ole 100% blockage, sure put me in the fast track lane to agreement on their...

Re: Goodknight 420 Sensor Tube
I use the 420E, and it works fine. I got the software so I can SEE what I'm doing, even daily............Used it in the hospital. Bought a whole backup set from cpap.com, good service, good prices and good follow through. I clean the hose wkly and the inside pressure line has little caps so the mois...

I think she should get some kind of reward, what can we cook up? She's been a wonderful source and a good friend to all!!! I'm agreeing with Judy--big time!! Judy, Judy, Judy... That's very sweet of you to say, but I can assure you... almost everything I've ever posted has been picked up from advice...
