40 points and peeps
Despite highest doses of meds for years my resting heart rate was always 120. It was the new cardiologist who sent me to the sleep lab and after 4.5 months pap therapy, it is down to 80 (!!). At my appointment today, doc had an intern with her. During the course of explaining to the intern, the doc was talking about the benefits of apeep over cpap. LDuyer, I thought of you every time she did it.
Yes, JimH, still on 3 meds to control the heartrate. Was hoping to begin titrating off but doc wants to wait a couple more months. Hate taking them and very expensive copays, but will willingly continue the meds and apap to have this slower heartrate. I never knew what it felt like to not feel your heart pound in your throat. Do you have the racing heart too? Have you seen a decrease in your rate yet? Hope so!

My peeps are back out of necessity. The dove avatar was one I had linked to directly from another discussion board (different topic), but the website was down for a couple of days, which meant I was without my dove. It's back up now, but I've decided to hang onto my peeps a little longer. I like them.seamaiden wrote:

Thanks.

Thankfully, I haven't had any Afib events in awhile. I had noticed I had them more when I was at my most tired warn down self. Thankfully, with the CPAP, I don't get that tired anymore. Last weekend I even put a shed together with my wife, painted my sons room helped make dinner, watered my chiapet grass, made a fort out of boxes for the youngings to play in, and completed other miscelaneous task. That was Saturday. On Sunday painted another coat and spent the rest of the day recovering.
