APAP Therapy Has Worked TOO Well

Post by TXKajun » Tue May 17, 2005 1:49 pm

As most of you who have been around for a bit know, I've been doing the APAP therapy (PB 420E, HH, Ultramirage FF mask) for about 3 months now. I've been giving some pretty glowing reports about how it's helped me become myself again and how much better I feel (except for the weekend where it almost killed me....by getting me feeling so good I did WAY too much yard work). Well, I'm here to tell you today, the therapy has worked WAY TOO GOOD!

It seems that last Friday, I found myself at the County Clerk's office with Sweetie........and we ended up getting a marriage license for our upcoming wedding on May 28, 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, after 5 years (to the exact day!), Sweetie's making an honest man of me! It all started about 3 weeks ago with a trip to Idaho Falls, ID where I managed to locate a stunning 1.5 carat diamond wedding set for her. Well, we've been working on it longer than that, but it really started coming together just a few weeks ago.

We've been planning this for a while now, but it seemed like there were obstacles that kept preventing it. Now that I'm thinking on all 8 cylinders again, we were able to come up with solutions to the obstacles and, voila, we're getting married in holy cow!!! 11 days!!

If any of ya'll find yourself in Carlsbad, NM on May 28, you're invited to the wedding!

Thanks to all of you for the great information and friendship here.

Excellent success story with a VERY happy ending! Good luck on your new life!

(I know it's rude to talk about it, but 1.5 carats? You have no doubt made her even happier than she already was!!!)

Be good!

Thanks, ya'll. Yep, I'm thinking way straight now!

Another benefit.....Sweetie's sleeping better now, also......cuz I'm not keeping her awake all night with my snoring/snarfling/non-breathing and believe you me, she's in a MUCH better mood!

Yesterday, I got home and there was a cop car parked at my place....I looked for the cop outside, nothing. I went in and went through the place and then met Sweetie outside with a real serious look on my face and said "Oh, oh. Someone's committed CLEAN in here!" We've been remodeling for a bit over a year (since someone ran into the side of our house in their car last year!) and yesterday, with the exception of hanging one last inner door, the job's DONE! And everything's put in it's place. Our home looked fabulous! What a gal Sweetie is! Love her to bits! Plus her putting up with me for almost 3 years with OSA....she's a saint!

Again, thanks ya'll!

Thanks UKnowWhat.

Nope, no crawfish boil. But, depending on the number of folks that I get RSVPs from, tentative menu is chicken/sausage gumbo, seafood gumbo, shrimp etouffe, dirty rice, bbq chicken, bbq-baked beans, pulled pork sandwiches, devilled eggs, boudin, potato salad, regular rice, pecan pies, lemon meringue pies, a special purple fruit salad that Sweetie loves and a chocolate 2-tier wedding cake. I darn near went nutz trying to get the Cajun garlic sausage I love so much ordered.....just couldn't get any cooperation from folks in Texas or Louisiana at a reasonable price.....but it outta be here Thursday afternoon. Needless to say, that's gonna be the base of quite a few of the dishes.

Yah, I know this may not look like it's got anything to do with xPAP, but without my APAP, I wouldn't have the energy to do all da cooking and probably couldn't remember the recipes. So there! LOL

Thanks for the offer, SailorBoy, but I'm gonna have to pass.....unless you want to spring for trips for about 20 or 30 of us!!! Plus, you gotta have a big enough kitchen and enough cookware for me to prepare the feast! LOL

Thanks for the good thoughts. BTW, you said you are an "amateur minister" in your post. Hmmmm, is that like an amateur uhhhhhhhh ......oh no! We don't need to go there!!! ROFL.
