O2 levels

Post by jqp » Fri Aug 17, 2007 5:10 pm

So, 2 days after I start with my CPAP machine, after waiting weeks to get it, I finally get the results back from my sleep study.

Doc says I averaged 10.4 "events" per hour which isn't bad, but during the events, my O2 went down to 82%. That sounds bad to me. Is it?

They said with CPAP, it stayed in the low 90s.

82% seems like you should be dead.

Mine went to 48% my first sleep study night. That really frightened me and my doc.
