Remstar M-Series C-Flex machine...is mine broken?

Post by joshc » Thu Jul 26, 2007 1:21 am

https://www.cpap.com/productpage-bundle ... undle.html

I got my machine about 2 weeks ago and I notice I wake up every night between 1:30am and 2am. I go to bed about 9:30-10pm every night.

When I wake up at this time I notice that the cpap feels like its barely blowing infact if I have the "auto off" feature turned on sometimes the cpap will turn off completely.

My cpap is not an auto, its set to 12 and reads 12 the whole time. I have no way to read the card in it...well I suppose I could take it to the vendor that sold it to me.

Im using the Mirage Quattro Full Face Mask, from what I can tell im not leaking any where.

What do you guys think? Is it defective or something?

Its possible that you could have a leak. A suggestion would be to take it back to the vendor and have the check the pressure on the machine to make sure that it is blowing 12 when its supposed to.

As for the air feeling like its barely blowing. I know when I first started the air pressure seemed like it was way too much but over time you get use to the feel of the pressure and then it feels like next to nothing.

If I am wrong I am sure others will chime in with their 2cent

The Auto:Off feature should be disabled or Off. If you are a shallow breather the machine can shut off.

Hold down the two arrow keys while plugging the power cord in the back, wait for beep, release. Press the (+) to enter Setup, use the -> arrow to navigate to: Auto:Off=, change from enabled to disabled or off. Press -> and navigate to Mask:Alert=, set to enabled, press the On/Off button to exit.

someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...

I was having very similar issues with my M series Pro. Turned out to be a smart card error. Switched cards, and no more problems.

I would pull the card for a night, and see what it does.
