New to this forum

Post by Sergey45 » Fri Jun 01, 2007 6:41 pm

HI all!
I’m new to this forum, so let me briefly introduce myself. My name is Sergey, I am 46 years old. I’ve been diagnosed with sleep apnea in January of 2006. So, at this point I am having 1,5 years of experience of fighting with masks, machines, Apria, and all what is sleep apnea is all about. Here is my personal website where I keep some sort of diary, describing CPAP equipment I have already tried.
http://www.sleepapneasymptom.medgrip.com
I hope you will find it helpful. Looking forward to chat with you all.
Thanks.

Sergey,

Let us know when you finish building your site to include more than just lists of Google ads for which you get paid based on activity on those links. Of course you invite readers to navigate the site! Not against anyone making a buck. Shoot, I've mentioned my sleep apnea t-shirts on here, but very clearly said that I needed the money. It might go over better for you to say that you've complied a list of cpap related resources, and that it would help you out if anyone in need of those resources went thru you to access those sites.

Kathy

Hi Kathy!
Thank you for “warm” reception. About your questions and observations.
1. I am not planning to actually finish my site. I just decided that instead of every time on every sleep apnea forum I’m in, answering questions like (what masks have you already tried, what is better, what is what….) I just compiled it in one place, giving a link to it. This way is easier for me, because English is my second language and what takes for you to type 5 minutes will transform into 30 minutes of my effort. So, I am very sad that on my site besides google adds you didn’t see my personal experience of dealing with all this stuff all of us are dealing with. Currently I have my new Bravo mask on its way, and I will update masks page
http://www.sleepapneasymptom.medgrip.com/cpap_mask.html
with my thoughts about this mask as soon as I’ll have some.

2. I have put google adds on my site because I need to compensate cost of hosting. Do you know any sites which operate on a non profit base? If you do, please point me to it.

Sergey.

If yours is missing it may be because you deleted a post that the administrators did not consider to be spam.

Many months ago I deleted one of my own posts because the subject was started up in another thread. The administrators took my delete button away. I don't miss it, because other members are very conscientious about deleting spam.
