I agree neverbetter, but are you in the right topic? I don't think any of us mentioned falling asleep at lights anywhere in this thread.

Sorry, just confused by topic of your message!
I have not yet begun to procrastinate.

I think santa made reference to falling asleep at stop signs ... I suppose so long as he does not fall asleep while driving thru them ... er ummm, well maybe he shouldn't drive thru them whether asleep or awake

Look out kids! ... he's got a sled full of toys!!!
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Unfortunately, however, due to circumstances beyond my control, I didn't get to bed until late. However, I was wearing the mask when I woke up after 4:45 of sleep or so.

However, because I got to bed so late, I'm still sleepysteve today. As my grandmother always said -- sometimes you can't win for losin'.

Anyway, thanks to all for all of the great advice. I'm just going to keep talking to my clock and praying for awhile, and hopefully I'll be able to keep the thing on my head!
The praying can't hurt, I suppose.

As for "talking to your clock", you're really talking to YOURSELF, you're merely LOOKING at the clock. You're giving yourself orders, making mask removal contingent upon the time being late enough.

By the way, to strengthen this "subroutine", this contingency rule, any time you take your mask off when FULLY AWAKE (example: upon awakening in the morning), look at the clock and make sure the time is later than the designated time before you take the mask off. Sounds silly, but following the rule even when awake will greatly reinforce the "rule" for when you're mostly asleep.
