Since using cpap, I have noticed that when I cough, alot of phlem coughs up. That wasn't the case before cpap. Is this normal?

I had a little of that and I figured it was due to the heated humidifier giving me much more humidity then I use to get. With no more dry throat in the morning it seems to be like after a hot shower when you are congested.. kinds keeps thing s breaking up and moving maybe heck I dunno but I do like the improvement in my breathing even during the daytime since I have been on CPAP for 2 months

How is the humidity there?

I would bet the amount of moisture required would depend on the climate where you are. Here in Colorado, I use higher settings on the resmed S8 and it feels good.
