Re: Small face/nomask question
The friend who recommended it called it "nomask" but I know some masks have changed names when the manufacturer changed so it may be called "CPAP pro" now.

Small face/nomask question
I've looked at a lot of the questions and answers regarding the nomask but haven't seen this covered--I have a small face and some masks I've tried won't work because of it. The one I'm using now is the Headrest but it's out of production. A friend uses and highly recommends the nomask. Has anyone w...

No more headrest?
I just heard that the company that makes the "Headrest" went out of business. Is that true? That's the only mask that's ever really worked for me. Should I order several as backups or do you think another company will start making it?

Can't download data from my Smartcard
When I first got my software to download the info from my Smartcard, it worked fine. I got a report with no problem. But now when I insert the card, the orange (red?) light comes on and I click on the "Download from Device" button, and there's no response at all. I can still click on "View Report an...

Re: Husband had sleep study and DOESN'T have OSA
No, the snoring isn't fatal but it IS keeping me awake at night. I don't like sleeping in separate bedrooms.

Husband had sleep study and DOESN'T have OSA
Advice please--My husband snores a lot and one night recently, while I was listening to him snore, I thought he stopped breathing for about 10 seconds. Since I've been on CPAP therapy for years, I knew what that meant and encouraged him to get a sleep study. He did that last week and today we found ...

Re: ResMed Swift FX
My first night with the Swift FX didn't go too well. I'm a side sleeper and evidently burrow my face down into the pillow which makes the vent blow into the fabric--noisey!! When that air wasn't hitting the pillow, the mask was wonderfully quiet--so much quieter than my headrest. The straps fall acr...

Re: ResMed Swift FX
I've been using the Headrest (or Aura--it's had lots of names) and I like it a lot but am going to try the Swift FX tonight. For those of you using the FX, how do you manage the hose? With the Headrest, the hose goes right up over my head, through a loop attached to the head of my bed, down across t...

Remstar Auto filter question
I have a Remstar Auto with CFlex machine. Can I wash the white filter and reuse it or does it have to be replaced with a new one?

How can he get himself to stop turning over on his back?
My husband tosses and turns quite a bit in his sleep, and when he ends up on his back he snores badly. When he sleeps on his side, he hardly ever snores. He has tried putting a tennis ball in a sock and pinning that to the back of his shirt, but that doesn't work for him. He just sleeps on top of it...

Re: Mask for women ?
I have had a lot of trouble finding a mask that doesn't leave strap marks on my face. Karen at Padacheek even worked with me on a couple of covers, but I still had to switch to a mask that has almost no straps across the cheeks. Right now I'm using the Aura Headrest (at least that's what it used to ...

Re: Disassemble the Aeiomed Headrest -with pics
Gumby-I'm very interested in your pics and info on disassembling the Headrest. I just ordered a 2nd Headrest from CPAP this week because my old one is about 2 years old. It's actually still holding up very well, but I really wanted to take it apart the way other folks have, and I was afraid to be le...

Re: OT: My first earthquake!
Jay--I was quite surprised to see your post about the earthquake, because evidently that same earthquake woke me up on the other side of our town. I live in the north county area, which is probably 8 miles or so from you, and at first thought it was distant thunder--but then realized thunder doesn't...

Re: Traveling on Allegiant Air
When I made that trip via Allegiant in December, there was no problem with taking my CPAP, my carry on and my personal item on board. There were no questions asked, went just as plr66 described. Happy trails!
