Does the Respironics Auto M series CPAP machine have an internal clock and date set? I looked at the sample reports on this site using encore and if I read them right it seems the reports had this info yet I see no way they coudl of set the clock as I was there when untaped and removed from a new box.
I do note it seems the machine rolls over the session data at 6 AM or around there each day

OK Dumb question
Same Question
I have the same machine and have been wondering when the day ends and how does the machine tell just what time it is. I have seen nothing to set.
I do not have any software to check. I have noted that if I check when I get up it may be the same as the day before. I wait till later in the day to take a look. Then the information is updated.
Anyone know what goes on here?

I am a Mac user, non intel, and can't use the software. I do log the daily statistics.
Most xPAP machines, if not all, and for sure the Resmeds and Respironics, run on a 24 hour, noon to noon, clock.
On the Resmeds, the nightly data is available via the Advanced Patient Menu on the LED screen up until noon. After noon that nightly data is merged into the weekly, monthly, yearly averages. But you can "fool" the machine if you forget to access the data before noon by resetting the clock to a few minutes before noon, access the data, then reset the clock to actual time again. (Of course, changing the clock requires access to the Clinician's Menu).

factory set
it comes factor set to GMT I believe and when you put in
where you are in places and offset
and upfront you can not change the clock ... the factor does it
but you can change the start of day that you use...
for get where but some one else can tell you

On Respironics machines, you cannot change the clock. It is set internally at the factory. Just for you future reference, these clocks DO "lose" time - mine's about an hour or so off now. It's nothing to worry about though. It doesn't impact your treatment in any way.
I believe I read on someone else's post at one point that you can send them back to the factory to be reset (to accomodate time "loss") if theyr'e still under two year warranty, but of course you'd have to have a spare machine to use while it was being fixed.
Hope that helps.

Hmmmm, if your machine is still under warranty, the clock is "off" by any significant degree and you really dislike your DME supplier and are feeling spiteful, it might be interesting to insist it be sent in for correction and that they supply you w/an equivalent loaner.
