Thanks for the help

Just a quick, small success story.

Was set to go down the road of getting exactly what the DME told me in no uncertain terms was my only option. Was going to get a CPAP with Cflex and Humidifier as my doctor prescribed and the DME told me was my sole choice.

After 5 hours of reading these forums, several calls to my insurance company and a few calls to Claudia at Billmyinsurance.com, I call my sleep Dr. armed with everything I need to make a case for APAP. In the end, for the same cost to me, (about $150) I will own a M series APAP with Cflex and Heated Humidifier. Im also going to purchase the software so that I might have some control of my treatment.

Never would have happened without you good folks on this forum. I hope I have as much success with my treatment.

Thanks again.

Well, welcome and glad we could help. Now please don't leave (we hate to be used and then discarded).

Sounds like you're getting a great machine, and kudos on getting the software. With the M Series machine, which has been known to skip data days, make sure you get the latest software. Version 1.8 of Encore Pro.

Traditionally, the masks are the most difficult part of therapy. A big problem there is mouth leaking which involves either a full face mask or mouth taping. Hopefully, you won't have the problem, and at least you will have the software data to determine whether you do or not.

Hang out with us.

Hooray for you! I'm in the middle of my own battle, and SO happy that you got a good machine right from the gitgo. Let us know how you do with your treatment. Cathy

Thank you for the support.

It can't get here soon enough. I had my worst night last night coming after what I thought was the worst it could get the last couple of nights. I feel terrible, can't wait to sleep again.
