Here is my report from last night (My first download to Encore). Looking at my time in Apnea and the number of events, should I up my pressure. To be fair, I am already above my prescription (9/5), but at 9 I felt starved for air.
A newbie trying to understand some numbers . . .

My recommendation would be to go down in pressure first. After all, you were titrated at a lower pressure. Odds are that the sleep lab got close to your best pressure. You might want to wait for another day or so though before doing anything and just collect more data. If you're comfortable at your current pressures, why not.
By going down in pressure you'll quickly find out whether that's the right direction to go or not. If not, then try increasing pressure. Odds favor your actual pressure needs being close to your titrated pressure. Although we hear a lot about sleep labs getting it wrong, I'd guess that they get pretty close to right more often than they get it wrong.
Regards,
Bill

Hi Phurious,
Looks like you're using the BiPAP Auto in bipap mode with bi-flex. (BFLE mode in the clinical menu setting.) Is there a reason you chose to run the machine as a bipap rather than auto-titrating bipap (AbFLE mode)? Not that there's anything wrong with using it purely as a bipap machine and not enabling auto-titrating. Just wondering.

how did you paste the number chart into your email?
Is that something that anyone can do with any machine?
It's very nice to be able to see what's going on.
Thank you - regards, Dee

Dee, this is a different machine than you have. Several of the Respironics machines have this capability with the purchase of a card reader and software.
Your machine is also capable of reports similar to this. In the meantime, you can access the LCD data -- see the info in the PM I sent you yesterday.
I would write the LCD data in a logbook, and at some point you might want to consider buying the added equipment.
First however, I would get the Aussie hose. That will help your therapy a whole lot.
