Re: standard or soft response
Lots of good people here to help. I went through a year long struggle changing so many settings and even collapsed and bought lankyleftys video evaluation. It was my last step because I couldn’t figure anything out myself. While he gave me some good information, I think watching all his videos help...

Re: Unable to fall asleep with CPAP
Have you tried getting used to the mask by wearing it in the daytime? Your brain may not want to sleep with this weird new thing on your face.

Re: Precise Meaning of MIN and MED
There is something important about the MED related to CPAP therapy, isn't there? I just can't remember what it is.
EDIT: This was actually a serious question that I actually wanted to know the answer to.

Re: Resmed 11 humidity pot runs out of water
does not hold 380ml How much? I didn't measure what was left in the bottom of the cylinder, but it was below the lowest line, which is 20ml. I'll try again later using a different method to see if I can get the actual number. I do fill to the max line every day without overflowing the tank.

Re: standard or soft response
You've got me thoroughly confused. This is the night of May 8th. https://sleephq.com/public/4d1b5b83-9f83-4cbe-ae54-69fd7f1fbd46 These are the settings for that night: Mask Pillows Mode APAP Pressure min 7.0 cmH2O Pressure max 14.0 cmH2O EPR level 3 cmH2O Humidity level 5 Ramp pressure 6 cmH2O Ramp...

Re: Resmed 11 humidity pot runs out of water
Well, after this I just had to measure. I can fill to the full line without overflowing if I am very careful, but it still does not hold 380ml. Fortunately, it holds enough for me as long as I don't have any big leaks.

Re: standard or soft response
I gotta a bunch of stuff on my plate today. So no time to go into much detail at all. Sorry. Stuff related to my late mother's estate that got dumped on my plate to handle. I have explained how to tell the difference multiple times in the past. Here's a thread that I happen to have handy. https://w...

Re: standard or soft response
I would go back to when you weren't screwing around with the settings. Back to what seemed to be working well for you and you were feeling good. I like this plan! I have never been feeling good, but I feel better than I did without the CPAP, that's for sure. I'm not going to do what the sleep nurse...

Re: standard or soft response
Stick to what you had on May 8th. Take a week to just concentrate on sleeping. You're spending at least half the night with no flow limitations - no matter what your pressure. Your breathing, when the pressure is close to 8 looks great. Your flow limitation are not waking you up - which is Lanky Le...

Re: standard or soft response
I don't have time to look at all those SleepHQ reports but I did scroll through the May 4 report. Probably at least 85% of the flagged events you weren't asleep when they got flagged. You may not remember the arousal but it happened and your breathing reflects it. Lots of arousal/awake breathing sh...
