Finally went Bi! ... level

Post by vandownbytheriver » Fri Apr 05, 2024 8:29 am

I recently went in for a lab titration (1500$) and it was worth every penny. Got my sleep report this week... tech recommended 17 over 21 bipap (equal to 17epap 21ipap PS4). Just had my first full night at these pressures... really the best sleep I've had in a long long time... O2 stayed over 95%, hardly any FL's, here, judge for yourself:

The one H I've been able to correlate with ring Movement, so could be considered a zero for the night AHI... just rolling over.

I highly recommend a lab titration to anyone that can afford it. Have your doctor prescribe an Ambien (or two!) to take, they like to put you to bed early and the quicker you sleep the less time wasted. I had a split night CPAP/bipap (it *was* a Respironics) at Austin Vital Sleep, Jared Baker was my tech, he was awesome, he was skeptical about taping my mouth inside the FF mask but I made a believer out of him by morning. Bottled water and snacks afterward! Even got a free mask out of the deal, brand new Vitera, same as I use.
