Re: Camping at Elevation With Sever Apnea Again, Please Help
Certainly you can use the Delta 2 Power Station if you have money you don't need. I used the jump starter because I had it on hand at the time so no expense there AND it works so I bought more. At the time they were $99. $50 for a replacement battery now. At that price I figure I can buy about 20 mo...

Re: Cleaning with CLR
Hi all, My father-in-law is using CLR to clean his reservoir and filter. Is this safe. I am not sure and I am concerned. Thank you I use distilled water and have never, ever had to clean with CLR or vinegar. AND besides saving me money it saves me plenty of time - time is something you will never e...

Re: Camping at Elevation With Sever Apnea Again, Please Help
because even when I recharge these batteries I end up buying two again every year and even then sometimes they don't last. I have to wonder if you keep these charged up when they are not in use? I use jump start batteries myself. With any battery you have to charge it before use as you don't know h...

Re: Best travel CPAP with humidifier
I always travel with the same machine w/humidifier that I use at home. I know it works and how it works. IF you are still in compliance you need to use the equipment insurance is paying for. Be sure to put a name tag on your carry-on - there will be others with the same bag who may just grab yours b...

Re: OT.....Trump falling asleep in court
In the one trial for which I selected, I was selected for a DUI trial where the guy was supposed to be using a breathalyzer to start his car but decided he was going out partying and drove a car that didn't have one. But he got caught in one of those roadside checkpoints was arrested (drunk) and no...

From what you are saying I think you need to turn down the temp on the water chamber, in fact start with turning it off then bump it up slowly. Good luck

Re: Insurance Fraud? Airsense 10 and ROTECH.
Could you possibly give the OP an example of how he is saving money? I gave an example of how I could/did save money. Did you not understand the math? OP is a big boy and needs to do his own math. Math was your idea. What you pay 2024: $174.70 each month (or higher depending on your income). The am...

Re: Insurance Fraud? Airsense 10 and ROTECH.

Could you possibly give the OP an example of how he is saving money? my Medicare it would cost me well north of 300 bucks a month because I got Medicare prior to age 65. Do the math on that for me. How does this matter to the OP? fwiw - ...

I nee d my old unit returned to its provider and the new unit issued. Ask how much for that unit, just for giggles. Re: Advice for first time sleeping on airplane w/cpap?
I would be looking for a window seat. Better than that if there is a business section on this plane I would try getting a window seat in the business section - there is norm much more room and more quiet - not many screaming kids.

I'd be tempted to put the thing in the dishwasher To future readers - Never disassemble or put anything in a dishwasher if you don't have a spare. AND you should have spares of each piece/part of your system you need to sleep. IF not you may be the one who has a need on a long holiday weekend and u...

Re: Confused regarding Mask/Tubing/Humidifier Tub Cleaner
that's interesting that it's in the air, Which is why I never recommend air drying. You never know what is in someone's air or if they just had a brush fire or toxic train derailment. Plus the things people are drying only get wet when used. Should we only ever use distilled water even for rinsing?...

Re: Confused regarding Mask/Tubing/Humidifier Tub Cleaner
Serratia marcescens is floating in the room air but needs minerals to feed on. The minerals come from using or even rinsing with tap water. It is not necessary to wipe or otherwise dry the *water* tub or hose both will get wet again with use. I never dry mine. Take a look at the overflow hole in the...
