Help with stuffy nose from CPAP Air

Post by sleepingbetter0209 » Wed Mar 13, 2024 6:37 pm

I am desperate for help. Almost every night I wake up with stuffy nose after sleeping around 3-4 hours. The I realize my nose is all plugged up from air from machine and I need to steam in order to get some relief. My mask is Airfit F30 hybrid mask which goes under the nose —. It is fairly comfortable but it dries up the nasal passages and wakes me up. Any suggestions on how to deal with this? I am not thrilled with the prospects of surgery on my turbinates or deviated septum so I am looking for conservative approaches. When I didn’t use CPAP, I would fall asleep and only once and awhile I would wake up with a stuffed nose.

What humidity setting are you using?
Heated hose or non heated hose?
