Trading/Selling cpap supply items

Saw a post about someone with a passover humidifier not needed any longer, and wanting to pass it on to a needy cpap'er. Did this work? Did each of you receive the agreed to items for trade? Were your trades what was expected as far as newness, cleanliness, not damaged, etc? If I may be so bold, were these items "sold" or traded? Would be interested to hear from anyone that has done this, either successfully or not.
