Cpap no power
Cpap no power
I have traveled to Dominican Republic. CPAP will not turn on. Can power the battery pack, but cpap does not light up.
Re: Cpap no power
Why are you making multiple posts on this? Take the machine back if it's not powering on...

Hey folks....please don't ding the newbies with multiple posts.
With the new accounts needing manual approval before posts show up the newbies don't know why their posts aren't showing up immediately and so they post again.
Sometimes I catch duplicates and combine them when I am approving them but sometimes I miss them. This morning I had 16 posts requiring manual approval and I just missed combining this person's posts into one thread.

Assuming that you are from the U.S. (or most of the other countries in the Americas), the electrical sockets and voltage are identical to what you have at home.
If it's not working in your hotel room, take your machine to the lobby and see if it works that (i'm only suggesting this as a diagnostic test). If it does, then the problem is in your hotel room and you can call the front desk for assistance.
Otherwise, it's likely that your machine was damaged in transit.
Just a reminder. Never put you CPAP in the check-in luggage and always carry it in the bag provided by the manufacturer.

Your machine may have died. Mine chose to die when I was out of town and could not immediately return it to my DME. As soon as I got back home, I called my DME and exchanged the machine.
