Kinda bummed reading this; but also a bit relieved (less on my ToDoList now). I was thinking of getting into backpacking; but reading this...I think I'll skip it. I don't have a lot of $ to throw at a light weight device/battery/solar panel; much less the reg backpacking gear.
I'll plan on using my current setup (Resmed S10/12v charger/35 amh AGM battery) & car camp/day hikes only. I just tested out this cpap setup/full battery charge & without the humidifier, I got 5 nights; but will only plan on 4 nights when car camping. I'll just enjoy what I can do & maybe look into this a few yrs down the road/see if there is better solution available then.
