Sleepyhead and Resmed AS10

Post by aherman18 » Tue Apr 17, 2018 7:59 pm

Only been a few weeks on the machine. I'm very comfortable using the device and now the new Dreamwear full face mask.

First questions - I notice that sleephead does not begin reporting for 1-2 hrs after I go to sleep. I wake up sometimes, to go to bathroom or whatever, restart and the report is missing a couple of hours, even though I was only up for maybe 30 min. Could this have something to do with the autoramp setting??

I'm struggling with congestion in the upper part of my nose. This has been a problem for many years. Tried saline rinses etc, they help for a bit. Humidification is set to auto. Tried nasal sprays, allergy shots no relief over the years. I did try turning up the humidification, but no help. Any ideas on this front would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Andrew

Make sure the clock on the AirSense machine is set to the correct local time first.

Auto Ramp....my understanding is it's either until the machine thinks you are asleep or 30 minutes max...whichever comes first.

In SleepyHead...make sure that in your profile that you have selected the correct time zone. That's really the only thing Sleepyhead can do that might cause a time error.

Is the wake time correct? Total hours using the machine correct?

Can you post an image of the detailed report where there is a bigger gap in time in the middle of the night than you know you actually had.
If ramp is part of it...it will show on the pressure graph.

How to post images of the detailed reports.

Autoramp will show up on the sleepyhead as a pressure increase at the start of treatment.

Make sure you've got your date/time set right on the machine.
