OK I'm new here and I have to ask, was "A Mess" possibly a representative of So Clean? It appears that the account is deleted.

The A Mess in this thread was posting as a guest..not logged in.

Her screen ID was AMess note no space between A and M
memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=83830

She wasn't a So Clean rep...not sure what she was really but she had some issues logging in often and losing her posts.
Lacking some computer skills maybe...never could seem to remember that A Mess and AMess were 2 different names and she had to use AMess if she wanted to be logged in. Long story there. Her account was never deleted and the only responses of hers that got deleted usually had some bad words in it.

Sadly, the name she chose was too accurate.

The neurologist today seemed knowledgeable in general but wondered about the so clean for the spouse....the humid breath running back into the tube, oh no what could be in there, the neuto-spouse never ever cleans it.

.......just a dry wind tunnel, no germs, neuro-spouse doesn't even use a humidifier.

...oh well, the unknown, what you can't see must be a boogie monster that needs something equally imaginary to make boogie monster go away.

Plenty of words, but is there meaning?

PR, I do get the gist of what klv is saying.
Hoodoo does not really ever happen, so the only possible protection is more hoodoo.
Real problems require real solutions, neither of which is in Noclean's wheelhouse.

I kinda thought maybe so, but ... well, it's been a long day for that kinda deciphering.

Not an advocate of the SoClean by any means, and certainly am not paid for it, but came to this site among other things to find out more about people's experience. For those who say that it is a total waste, what do you make of the research posted on their site:

The only important info at their site is at the far bottom of the page:
"We are not . . . endorsed by any PAP equipment manufacturer." -- https://www.soclean.com/about-us/
And there you have it.

Enterococcus faecalis was completely inactivated on all filter papers subjected to the sanitizing process
I think that if I'm gonna put contaminated filter papers in my mask, that it could work.

However, I'm not putting filter papers in my mask (which will be much easier to decontaminate), and there's nothing in there that needs sanitizing in the first place.

If they wanted to prove how effective, or necessary it is, they should take a mask and hose that has been recently used, swab the inside of the mask and hose, run their machine and do a follow up swab of the mask and hose.

It is my personal believe that their wanting to accomplish the impossible would not make accomplishing the impossible any more likely than it already is.

Proves to me like us, germs die of old age too. Lysol Spray kills 99 % of germs, and doesn't cost %300.00 or run on Electric. Jim

Looks like a case of too much money to be made.
