I am working on the spam removal....

Hey guys,
Just got up.
What a fricking mess.
I can block them but it's going to take me some time to manually removed each spam.

There's something like 55 pages of them. Could a system administrator remove them easier? Possible something like how they purged alphabet guy?

I can quickly block the user account but the manual removal of each spam post is time consuming.
I don't have a way to just remove the spam in big blocks.
So it will take me some time to manually remove each one.
If they sneak back in though with a new ID...I can spot it and quickly stop at least that account.

Obviously the new security stuff isn't so secure.

Bendauphinee is going to have a lot of work to do today too.

Yes, there's a way at the admin level...but I don't have those powers.

I will do what I can to clean things up until those with the big nuclear powers get to work and spot the mess.

On another forum I moderate, when I delete a user, there's a checkbox to delete all that users posts. there may be something like that on this board system... if not, there should be

There is...but not at my "security clearance" level.
I can ban/block a member from posting again but I can't delete a member or do a block delete of all their posts. I can access all their posts but to remove each one I have to click on each one.

So when the Asian dude returns tonight...as I see him he will be blocked from posting again...and he will create another user ID and I will block him again....and sometimes I have blocked him before he has even got a post in...and sometimes not. Then I block him and then manually delete him.
He's returned to see if I was still here several times since the first posts around 6:15 or so.
I can block him faster than he can create new accounts. Eventually he will get the message. Hopefully.......

Don't get your hopes up.. it's most likely a collection of spam bots that don't know/care.... they just post.

But, I'll cross my fingers that you're right

If you notice the time that I posted the first message it was early this morning.
I got here and we were in the middle of a spam bot attack...like pages and pages and pages of what appeared to be Korean spam.
Thousands of posts.
It took a little while but we finally got things cleaned up so those posts are gone and that's why you don't see them now.
He's (the spammer) been back this evening trying again but so far I can keep ahead of him by blocking him from posting again.
