Post by Timrtomr » Sat Feb 24, 2018 7:37 am

First night on air curve 10 auto and not sure what numbers are important. I'm a newbie. Pressure was 13/8
Use 8.45...
Events per hour..5.1
Smile face for leak/humidifier
Leak 16l/min
Vt 520 ml
Rr12
Mv 6.46l/min
Ti. 1.7
I.e. 1:2.0
Sport cyc. 70.5%
Ahi. 2,6
Total ai 2.5
Central ai. 1.6

My study showed ahi of 54.8. I think it looks good?

Agreed. If you can post up screenshots from sleepy head the people here will get you better numbers most likely.

Thanks...haven't gotten to download sleepyhead yet. I use iPad. Have to use wife's computer. Last nites numbers up a little but better than ahi 54 I started with. Ahi 3.8 with 6.4 events.
Will high mouth leaks up my numbers?
Thinking of going from nasal mask to full face. Air curve report said leaks up from 16l to 24l.

You need to understand what the machine is reporting when it reports the leak on the machi9ne's LCD screen if that is what you are reporting here.
The machine will report what is called a 95% leak number and the definition is at or below that number for 95% of the night.
It is NOT where you were at for 95% of the night. The "or below" part of the definition is important but often forgotten or people don't understand the definition.
This is the same definition when it comes to 95% pressure numbers...at or below.

95 % numbers are easily skewed upwards by relatively short periods of time at higher numbers so they aren't always all that useful.

When you are finished with the DME, you can put the machine in auto mode and use sleepyhead to see how your treatment is going.
I would use minimum epap 8, maximum epap 20. PS 5. this will have the minimum pressure 13/8 and then give the machine room to move, to determine what it needs more for your OSD
