Another great idea. Or maybe we should all send message to resmed to make adjustable strap for p10 vs those plastic oval clips, which don’t do much

Has anybody tried the Brevida headgear on the Resmed Airfit P10 mask?

Would love to know what are your findings after few nights with that setup. I tried pilario and Brevida and sent both back. Couldn’t stop leakings.
I also tried the Brevide but had a terrible time with leaks! I liked the nasal pillow though.

I don't see a way to modify the P10 mask to accommodate the Brevida (or any other, for that matter) headgear.

You are right. I just looked at p10 and there are no holes to hook the Brevida headgear.

2nd night using the Pilairo headgear/straps with the Brevida and am very pleased with the combination. The clips slide out when being put together but stay attached just fine when on my head and are under tension. I really like that it is so adjustable and comfortable.

It worked well for me, too, except for 1 thing: When I had to take a bathroom break, the clips would come undone, and fiddling with them in the dark isn't easy. I remove the mask the same way I do all others, pull down and then back over my head. Both clips "unsnapped," and I had the choice of fiddling in the dark or turning on the light and getting myself woke up really good. I can solve this, of course, by unhooking the mask from the hose.

Yeah, that’s what I do - just disconnect from the hose. The clips do fall out if they aren’t under tension. I was also thinking of using a narrow piece of tape on them.

So there is no way to move the clips from Brevida headgear to pilairo headgear? On pictures it looks like they can slide out easily.

The Pilario straps are too wide to slide into the Brevida clips. You could probably stuff them in there, but I don't think they'll slide as you adjust it and it'll be a wrestling match.

I don't know how the Pilairo straps are constructed, but might one trim to fit the section of strap that would loop through the Brevida clip? I can forsee some shortening of life expectency of the strap but possibly not too drammatically.

Yeah, I thought of that last night after I posted, and it likely could be trimmed some to slide into the Brevida clips. The other clips are working fine, though, since I figured out to disconnect from the hose if I'm just on a bathroom break.

So, I took thin strips of medical paper tape and wound each Pilairo clip/Brevida attachment with the tape. They aren’t at all bulky and work like a charm! Nice and secure and stay attached. Problem solved! Have used them like this since last posting and they are staying on fine.

Thanks Pugsy. I appreciate it. There isn’t really any hurry - just thought I would try the other headgear to see if there was less slippage. Just tangles my hair some. Whenever will be fine.
Thanks again.
Saw your post here and wonder if you have any trouble with the Brevida mask with the nose pillows inverting? I really liked the Brevida mask when I could get the pillows right. Great seal, so quiet! But one or other pillow would get inverted and I had a hard time "popping" it back out. I've got the mask boxed up for return.

I don’t know if that was my problem or not, but first part of the night Brevida was seal proof. And every day around 3-4 am one side would start leaking (left one). I would pull the mask away from my face and insert back and it was ok for few minutes and back to hissing noise of escaping air. Always wonder if that was the problem but I couldn’t see it, since it was inserted. Anyhow, I’m awaiting opus 360 in shipment and hoping it’s better than Brevida (noticed that I sleep way better with tube going to top of my headgear, which is causing less tangling during night).

I've had them invert when donning the mask when I didn't take care to aim them at the nostrils properly. Pretty simple to pop back out, worst cast you'd have to remove the pillow from the headgear, pop it out, then snap the pillow back in, but most of the time I could do it without that removal. I put it on looking in the mirror just before lights out and have had no issue watching the mask go into the nostrils.
