Is the write protect switch on the SD card on or off? It must be off to write. Jim

You won't need to lock the SD card since you are now using the AirCurve machine. That lock warning really only applies to the S9 models.

You might look at RobySue's thread about installing SH and pay special attention to the part where it says to find the drive letter where the card sits.
http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph ... d#pid73182

So first of all I would check to make sure the drive itself where the slot for SD card is working.
To do that you navigate to the drive letter with the SD card in it and see if you can see the SD card.
If you can't see it...neither can SleepyHead and you have a problem with the hardware in your computer.

If you can see the card...try a different card. There's always the chance the card is bad.

Locked or unlocked your computer should see the card. So that's not the problem.

Thanks Pugs. The problem was a bad, brand new SC Card. I put an old blank CD Card in the VPAP and then downloaded it to SH--no problem. However the only data is pressure settings and an AHI of .58, and nothing else. There is NO OTHER DATA and the AHI on the machine and in SH are NOT the same.

I know there should not be any detailed data, but where is the rest of the data???

Any ideas//

There is nothing but the AHI and a little bit of pressure and leak numbers stored on the machine so you got what was stored on the machine.

The AHI will often be a bit different when this situation happens because SleepyHead needs some data that is usually in those files that are written directly to the SD and not stored on the machine. I have had it happen to me and see that the AHI reported when the SD card was in my computer instead of the machine was a bit different when reported by SleepyHead. It's going to be close though.
Maybe 1 or 2 off if that much.
ResScan can do a better job of giving you a more accurate AHI in this situation but you still get only summary numbers.
You don't get any detailed data if the card isn't in the machine during the night.

In your situation here...you got what the machine stores in its internal memory and can write to the SD card.
Tomorrow you will get the detailed data you want and are used to seeing.

1. was the sd card in the machine overnight
2. unplug the power for 10 minutes, to reset it

The problem was the new SD card in the new machine.
The SD card was bad for some reason.

A blank new SD card was used and the machine wrote the data stored in its memory to the new card and SH found it.
Unfortunately it's just summary data.

Nothing can be done or needs to be done with the machine now except use the machine tonight and let the machine write directly to the SD card those detailed files that it doesn't store in the internal memory and tomorrow there will be the usual detailed data.

It seems I've picked up a troll, this is new.

Post time 1:25 and 1:26, it seems a digitally deficient troll at that. That can't comprehend that people can be typing posts at the same time.

Why do I have to explain *everything* to you in simple, minute detail?
