A way to get data if I forgot to put SD card in?

Post by metallikat36 » Fri Feb 23, 2018 2:52 pm

I forgot to put my SD card back in my machine last night. I stuck it back in this morning, then took it right out again, and imported into sleepyhead, hoping that would get the data. This gave me a little summary data. It seems to have accurate information about my session times last night. But the AHI is suspicious. Sleepyhead says it's only 0.22, which is the best I've ever had. A handful of times I have gotten 0.6.

Though I am honing in on what works for me, so I am hoping this reading is accurate.

Any way to get more complete data onto my SD card from last night, or am I out of luck?

Thanks.

Out of luck for the detailed data and your AHI might be slightly off in SleepyHead because some of the data files it needs for the AHI calculations are missing because SH uses some of those detailed files for final AHI calculation.

It's going to be real close though and close enough that it really isn't going to matter much.

Or you could get ResScan and see what ResScan says if it bugs you too much but I have done it...compared ResScan results with no detailed data files on the card and Sleepyhead and while the results were different it wasn't a huge difference. Maybe 1 or 2 AHI off and that's it.
Usually the SH AHI is the higher of the 2 though.

Your machine will show the AHI on the sleep report shown on the LCD screen. That's the one to go by for last night.
See how it compares to what SleepyHead is showing.
Do you know how to get the Sleep Report on the LCD screen to show your AHI?
If not, it's explained in the manual.

Essentials setting has to be changed from "usage" to "Plus".

Thanks. Yes, I saw in the middle of the night that my AHI was 0.4 on the LCD, then after waking up in the morning it was 1.1 on the screen. So even having 0.4 AHI for half a night is significant for me and gives me some clues about what I am doing right.

nope. the data you want is written directly to the card while the machine is in operation.

No card, no data.
