Post by nicodan » Wed Feb 21, 2018 11:07 am

Purchases new November 2012. Used for about 4 years. New machine came with a heated hose.

$20.00 and I'll pay the shipping.

I am interested. How does it work? Were you happy with it? I am fighting with my supplier to try and get heated hose for my devillbiss and they claim they don’t know if one is available for it. Sounds like I may need to buy myself.

This type of heated hose is what we call a stand alone heated hose. It isn't connected to the power supply of your cpap machine at all.
It is strictly on/off...there is no thermostat for adjusting hose air temps.
You can read about it here
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/hybern ... -hose.html
I used one some years ago before machines were made with the integrated heated hoses. I was very happy with it. It did its job.
You don't/can't use a hose cozy with this type of heated hose though. The air will get way too warm.

Thanks for info. I unfortunately have to wait another 19 months before insurance will pay for a new machine. And since switching to airfit p10 I am unable to use humidity at all without massive rainout. I have ordered covers for the barrel and just need the heated hose

I apologize for the delay. I was gone all day.

Yes, it worked very well for me. You need an additional power source for the power pack. I use an electrical strip and used the power button for on and off.
We sleep cool, and this took care of the problem
I now have an integrated hose system.

I don’t think you would need or want a hose cover.
