Airfit P10 Nasal Pillow. Always appreciate the boards wisdom

Post by tejen » Sun Feb 18, 2018 2:13 pm

Hi All,

Have been successfully using the AirFit™ N20 Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear for my first 2 months. It is working great but i am going to try the Airfit P10 Nasal Pillow. Just got it today. Seems much lighter and appears to be more comfortable. Any thoughts? insights? experiences? tips?

Thanks in advance.

I have been using it for almost a year and love it. No leaking and I am at ~18cm-H2O of pressure.
Note that there is a model especially for women.

Tip- I had a hard time telling which way was "UP" in the dark to put it on. I tied a small piece of ribbon to the top head band strap so I can feel for the ribbon and know which headband strap goes on the top of my head.

The front top of the nose piece is rough so you can orient it in the dark. This is mentioned in their documentation.

I know that you are supposed to "feel" the nosepiece and be able to tell what way is up. My fingers aren't that smart

The only mask I've ever used (I've *tried* others but I always come back to it). The ONLY difference in the P10 For Her is the color of the headgear and the sizes of pillows it comes with, that's it. I received a P10 For Her as my first mask, and soon discovered the M pillow was too small for me, so I now order the P10 fit kit and/or large pillows.

i'm a lucky fella. the p10 was my fourth mask and i fell in love with it!

one tip-the headband is going to stretch over time. remove the band when it starts getting loose and wash it with some dawn liquid dish soap. dry thoroughly and reattach. voila! good as new.

been using mine for around two years now.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

My fave, and I've tried many. Easy way to get orientation is to use the included clips on only one side of the straps, and that will orient the mask.

I have used the P10 since it first came out...love it!

I have many L pillows. PM me if you would like them.

When I received my replacement machine, I got the P10 as I was told that the diffuser on the mask was quieter, which it is compared to the Swift FX. I like mine. It was a little tricky getting used to which side is up, but there is a very smooth circle on the one side which I believe is the bottom. Once I figured this out I was fine.

I will be interested to see how the headgear holds up though. It comes with those little clips to help.

In my quest for "THE MASK",
I tried over 20 masks in as many months.
The p10 has been my favorite mask for well over 2 years.
I have several frames and headgear, cleaning more than one at a time,
so I can swap in a hurry, if needed.
I used to cuss out the mask designers, but, somehow,
ResMed actually had a GENIUS on the job--for once!
