Still noticing snoring.

Post by huskers4life11 » Thu Feb 22, 2018 11:02 am

I sleep on my back and have been still beeen noticing quite a bit of snoring and some teeth grinding. Pressure setting is on 9. I am recording with a sleep app. Never really used my machine much the first couple of years. Never could get used to it. Finally found a mask that works for me and have been doing well with it for the past month.

You should use a "night guard" to protect your teeth. Try the $20 "boil and bite" variety. The ones from your dentist are better, but much more expensive.

Also, try raising the pressure slightly. The indicators that you have raised it too high are (1) an increase in central or clear airway events, (2) increased discomfort and/or leaking relative to lower pressures, dryness in excess of lower pressures.

You might want to use available software to see exactly what is going on. Might be more than snoring.

In general you would raise the pressure 1cm at a time for the snoring. As said, download and post some charts for better advice.
